Client Intake & Assessment

All enquiries and referrals for services will be directed to our central intake workers who will do a brief assessment and then link you with the most appropriate worker, program or provide you with relevant information.

We have waiting lists for some of our programs. For these programs, the intake workers will discuss options with you that you may wish to consider, with regard to external services or programs.

Personal Information

We are required to collect a client's details and health information, however the content, collection, storage, use and disclosure of this information is all subject to strict provisions under the Privacy Act and the Health Records Act legislation.

As a client, you will also be requested to give your written/verbal consent should your information need to be shared with other service providers or in order for us to refer you to another agency or service.

Costs

Attendance at GCH is free for most services. As of 1st July 2007, some services will attract fees.

Some activities and groups charge a fee to cover costs.
