Overview of Gateway Community Health

Cooperation And Collaboration

Our goals are to promote and achieve the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities by providing services that are responsive to local needs and opportunities and to work with people to help them acquire the skills and knowledge needed to live healthy lives.

The basis on which our direction as an organisation, is underpinned by the Department of Human Services (DHS) Policy titled “Community Health Services – creating a healthier Victoria”.

To achieve this we work collaboratively with a strong network of health, government and community services in NE Victoria and the Albury/Wodonga region. By working together to develop individual and collective skills, to advocate and formulate healthy policies and develop and secure healthy environments we will achieve a healthier, happier and more productive society. By assessing local and individual needs and being a forward thinking organisation, Gateway Community Health will also seize opportunities for innovative action and new partnerships to help better the health and wellbeing of our communities.
